Synopsis

Indicates whether dynamic client registration is supported.

Description

This feature indicates whether dynamic client registration is supported by the provider and if there are restrictions.

Explanation of Values

For this feature the following possible values are defined:

• Open

  Dynamic client registration is supported and no authentication is required.
• Protected

  Dynamic client registration is supported, but authentication is required. The inital access token that is required for authentication might be a normal user access token or special token used for client registration; this depends on the provider.
• Limited

  Dynamic client registration is supported, but the registered client might be limited. E.g. it could be that not all scopes can be registered dynamically.
• No

  Dynamic client registration is not supported
